Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer (m/f/x) to join our team of engineers. In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing solutions to improve railway operations that haven’t been solved so far. You will work alongside a team of experts who are committed to pushing the boundaries of what's possible and driving innovation forward. Your Impact

• You’ll work as a software developer in a cross-functional team (consisting of data engineers, Full-Stack engineers, and DevOps engineers), focused on developing and enhancing features for our switch monitoring product
• You will take the technical leadership for projects in your team, actively collaborating with our revenue team, analyzing requirements, and aligning technical dependencies across teams.
• Together with other Full-Stack Engineers, you will define and promote common technical standards across all teams.
• You own your designs and code & bring along good coding practices throughout the full product life cycle, and keep other team members accountable to meet goals.

To be successful in this role, you’ll (preferably) need to have

• 5+ years of experience developing frontend and backend functionality, deploying to a cloud environment, preferably AWS.
• Experience building frontends with a modern framework (preferably React and TypeScript) and various backend technologies (preferably Python, Java, SpringBoot) incl. multiple database technologies
• Experience with AWS services (e.g. Lambdas, Dynamo DB, EventBridge, SQS, API Gateway…) or similar services from other cloud platforms.
• Nice to have: you already have experience working with data pipelines
• As a generalist, you’re eager to continuously learn and open to switching between technical domains like Backend, Frontend, infrastructure, or Data Engineering.
• You enjoy working in a close team setup and being an active communicator. 
• You like to get things done and support the team with your execution-oriented approach
