👔 The Role

We’re looking for a talented Social Media Manager (Part-Time) to join us on our mission to build a standout brand in the fintech and mortgage space. This is an exciting opportunity to shape our social media journey from scratch. You’ll work 3 days a week, owning our strategy and execution across channels, helping us elevate our voice, grow our following, and strengthen our market presence.

📲 Your Responsibilities

  • Strategy development: Build and implement a social media strategy aligned with Koodoo’s brand and business goals.
  • Content creation: Plan, write, and publish engaging content across platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
  • Brand storytelling: Craft compelling narratives that communicate our mission, values, and product innovations.
  • Channel management: Maintain a consistent posting cadence and brand voice across all channels.
  • Campaigns & launches: Collaborate with internal teams to support product launches, hiring drives, partnerships, and more.
  • Analytics & reporting: Track performance using KPIs and adjust strategies to improve reach, engagement, and conversion.
  • Community building: Engage with followers, partners, and influencers to strengthen online relationships.

🎯 What You’ll Need

Essential:

  • 3+ years of experience in social media management, ideally within financial services or fintech.
  • Proven success in building or scaling corporate social media from the ground up.
  • Strong copywriting, editing, and content creation skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of platform-specific best practices and analytics tools.
  • Ability to create simple visuals using Canva or similar tools.
  • A proactive and strategic mindset with a creative eye.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own calendar effectively.
  • Passion for technology, innovation, and storytelling.

Nice to have:

  • Experience working in a start-up or high-growth environment.
  • Familiarity with paid social campaigns and SEO best practices.
  • Exposure to video content creation or editing.
