Product Manager

Germany

Greenhouse is hiring a Product Manager to join our tight-knit Product team.

As we continue to expand Greenhouse's product offerings, your role will be important to ensure success throughout the company. You will brainstorm new features with the Design and Engineering team, guide them through the development process, and serve as an important point of contact for Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing teams. You’ll keep projects on track and drive real change in how we work. We have a small team and dislike bureaucracy — you'll make a big impact here.

Who will love this job:

  • A problem solver, you love digging into challenging problems and finding elegant solutions
  • A leader, you set a clear goal, and think holistically about how this impacts the greater company
  • A storyteller, you believe in our mission and can communicate it internally and externally
  • An organizer, you know how to weigh contending priorities and maintain an ongoing feedback loop between customers and internal teams
  • A teammate, who is able to contribute and thrive within a dynamic environment

What you'll do:

  • Lead individual features from idea to release
  • Work closely with our R&D team to identify blockers and make decisions about how new functionality should behave
  • QA new features before they're released
  • Prioritize projects and bugs
  • Communicate with the broader company on feature development via release notes, documentation, and FAQ's
  • Contribute to the public product roadmap and serve as a visible member of the Product team for our customers

You should have:

  • 3+ years of experience in product management
  • Excellent project management skills - you should be able to break large, challenging problems into small, manageable tasks
  • Empathy – listen, influence, and build positive relationships internally and with our customers
  • Technical knowledge – you don't need to have engineering experience, but you can hold your own with our engineers
  • The ability to quickly switch between problems and tasks — being comfortable with interruptions is a requirement

Pay, Perks & Such:

At Greenhouse, we celebrate our diverse group of talented employees – and it shows. We are proud to say that we have been ranked #1 Best Place to Work in 2017 by Glassdoor and #15 by Crain’s New York Best Places to Work 2017. We pride ourselves on our collaborative culture, which starts with our interviews and continues through our executive “Ask Me Anything” sessions, regular company get-togethers, and quarterly “fun days” (think trapeze school, glassblowing, or dumpling class), just to name a few.

We offer a full slate of benefits, including competitive salaries, stock options, medical, dental, vision, life and disability coverages, FSA, HSA, flexible vacation, commuter benefits, a 401K plan, and a parental leave program. And... we offer some not-so-standard, extra-fun benefits, including learning & development stipends, adoption and fertility benefits, an employee discount platform, and of course, fully stocked fridges and cold brew on tap. :)

We value diversity and believe forming teams in which everyone can be their authentic self is key to our success. We encourage people from underrepresented backgrounds to apply. Come join us, and find out what the best work of your career could look like for you.

Race & Ethnicity Definitions

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

An "Armed forces service medal veteran" means a veteran who, while serving on active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service, participated in a United States military operation for which an Armed Forces service medal was awarded pursuant to Executive Order 12985.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
