
Associate Wealth Advisor
Position Summary
Kovitz is seeking an Associate Wealth Advisor. The Associate Wealth Advisor role leverages the time and expertise of the Lead Financial Advisor by assisting them, and at times replacing them, in the execution of steps in the client service process. The Associate Wealth Advisor focuses on communicating with clients and responding to their needs and is expected to meet the needs of clients as determined by the Lead Financial Advisor. The Associate Wealth Advisor will help retain existing clients by providing outstanding service and is expected to generate referrals.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional client service to an advisor's book of business, ensuring clients' needs are met promptly and effectively.
- Build, maintain, and solidify client relationships, playing a supportive role on larger relationships and proactively addressing clients' plans and goals.
- Advise clients by delivering presentations, answering questions, and providing basic investment and financial planning advice.
- Take detailed notes during client meetings and be accountable for follow-up items to ensure client satisfaction.
- Learn business development strategies while servicing clients and identify opportunities to expand the client relationship.
- Coordinate the creation of financial/mini-plans and prospecting documents to support business development efforts.
Qualifications
- Series 65 or equivalent required
- CFP not required but encouraged
- 2-3 years’ experience delivering direct client advice
- Soft skills such as communication or problem-solving
The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $75,000-$85,000. Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant's skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
