 With a focus on India, KRAFTON is dedicated to nurturing the gaming and start-up ecosystem. In line with this commitment, KRAFTON initiated the KRAFTON India Gaming Incubator (KIGI) in October 2023. KIGI aims to support 6-10 teams annually with program durations ranging from six months to one year. Additionally, KRAFTON India has invested over $150 million in the Indian market in the past two years and has committed an additional $150 million to the Indian start-up ecosystem over the next three years.

Role: Sr Product Manager - Live Operations

Sr Product Manager - Live Operations will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing the live operations of a new games portfolio. The role involves leading live services for our 3rd party games once developers have been onboarded. This position is ideal for a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of app store dynamics and live game operations. 

Responsibilities

  1. Leading live service for a new games portfolio:
    • Take ownership of live services for a new games portfolio and addressing challenges post-developer onboarding.
    • Manage live operations for daily activities to drive engagement and revenues
    • Collaborate with Marketing and Game Acquisition teams for a coordinated approach on live services
  2. First Principals Thinking
    • Clarity on how to use a User Network across multiple games
    • Help developers grow their games by leveraging app store partnerships, sales strategies, and other revenue channels.
    • Collaborate with development team to suggest and implement new features aimed at enhancing monetization, operations or any other significant aspects.
  3. Feedback Collection and Analysis:
    • Gather feedback from developers and customers, ensuring that insights are effectively communicated to the development team for continuous improvement.
  4. Community and Developer Engagement:
    • Partner with the marketing team to plan and execute community events focused on developer education and engagement.
    • Help developers with day to day issues
    • Help prepare and maintain comprehensive developer documentation and educational materials

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of work experience, preferably on a game team or a game platform
  • Proven track record in live operations, user engagement and feature monetization
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to derive actionable insights from feedback
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of game development and operations

Preference

  • Familiarity with modern tools and processes for game app management
  • Experience with developer community engagement
  • Deep experience on analytical tools
