Summary/Overview:
KBRA (Kroll Bond Rating Agency, LLC) is seeking an engaged and proactive Full Stack Associate Software Engineer to work on our internal Publications Platform which includes several applications and services. We want someone who is motivated to solve problems, enjoys working in a collaborative environment, and is able to create high quality Service Contracts and maintainable Data Structures.

About the Job:
You'll be helping us continue our digital transformation, automating the publication of documents and greatly improving our interaction with clients seeking our impressive financial research and ratings. You will also be responsible for creating new projects, updating and maintaining existing projects/libraries to ensure they remain consistent with our standards. You will join a team of 3 software engineers who work closely with our project management team and internal users.
You'll use your knowledge of software engineering architecture patterns to improve our web-based applications. You will be responsible for helping us evolve the state of the System and deliver new features.
About You:
You're a developer who can turn requirements into reliable code that other people -- and your future self -- will find easy to read and modify.
You will be successful in this role if you possess:
- Three (3) or more years of technical development experience.
- Experience in applying SOLID principles.
- A deep understanding of C# and React.
- Good experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Expertise with architecture patterns.
- Have experience using debugging tools.
- Experience with unit testing (bonus points for synthetic and E2E testing)
- Strong analytical skills.
- Enjoy helping other developers grow and learn new technologies.
- Have a diplomatic temperament; share opinions with the team and be open-minded to alternative solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
Salary Range:
The anticipated annual base salary range for this full-time position is $75,000 - $90,000. Offer amounts are determined by factors such as experience, skills, geography, and other job-related factors.
