About the Job:

Kroll Bond Rating Agency UK Limited (KBRA UK) is seeking a talented placement year student to join our internship program, hosted for 9 months. This internship will provide you with the opportunity to gain firsthand experience into the life of a credit rating agency analyst and to learn valuable skills coveted in any corporate setting. This internship will be based in our London office.

 As an intern, you will:

• Provide administration support for KBRA’s Business Development team including support for key organisational meetings and dealing with their coordination and ad-hoc tasks.
• Prepare internal and external presentations and reports in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Develop spreadsheets and materials to support the engagement process and Investor relations outreach.
• Contribute to project and research support.
• Help maintain and enhance relationships with existing clients and prospects, ensuring smooth communication and follow-ups.
• Be exposed to senior level industry experts.
• Work closely with the Co-Head of Europe to provide general office support including but not limited to sorting the post, ordering supplies and other administrative duties.

About You

• You excel in a fast-paced, intellectual, and friendly environment. You have a natural analytical aptitude towards problem solving and don’t mind rolling up your sleeves to get the work done. 

Required Key Skills:

• Undergraduate concentration in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong appetite for knowledge, especially in data and finance.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Strong oral and written communications skills.
• Familiarity with Generative AI tools such as ChatGPT for research, data insights, and general productivity is a plus.
• To qualify applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United Kingdom and should not require sponsorship (current or future) for employment visa status.
