Quantitative Research Summer Analyst

This is an onsite internship based in Taipei and is not eligible for immigration/visa sponsorship. Full-time commitment is required for the duration of the internship.

What You’ll Do

  • Begin with a structured onboarding and training program to help you quickly get familiar with our systems, tools, and workflows
  • Work hands-on on real research projects, with guidance from experienced researchers, gaining practical exposure to applied quantitative research
  • Analyze large-scale datasets to uncover meaningful patterns and generate insights
  • Learn how to distill complex analyses into clear, prioritized takeaways and translate them into actionable solutions
  • Take ownership of your ideas and contribute to strategy development from an early stage
  • Join a collaborative environment that values curiosity, experimentation, and learning, with support available when you need it


What We’re Looking For

  • Currently a junior, senior, or graduate student with a strong academic background in a quantitative field (e.g. EE, CS, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or Financial Engineering)
  • Strong numerical intuition with a high level of attention to detail
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to take ownership of tasks from initial exploration to final delivery
  • Curious problem-solver who enjoys exploring ideas and proposing creative, well-reasoned solutions
  • Solid hands-on experience with Linux environments and strong programming skills in C++ or Python; experience with both is a plus
  • Clear and effective communicator who works well in a collaborative, team-oriented setting
  • Exposure to any of the following is a plus: machine learning, financial markets or trading, blockchain / crypto technologies

  • Feb 6th - Mar 20th: Application submission due
  • Mar 23th - Apr 5th: Online code test
  • Apr - Early May: Technical interview
  • May - Behavioral / Cultural Fit Interview
  • Late May - Result announcement

 

Salary

NT$ 150,000 / month
