About the role
We are seeking a boundary-pushing, idea-generating, and pop culture-loving Creative Director - Social Media to join our team of badass creatives and help us create content that shines.
They will drive the end-to-end social media strategy and execution for a leading music/entertainment brands. From crafting trend-savvy campaigns to delivering creative excellence, you’ll shape the brand’s presence across platforms like YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, and Facebook. If you have a love for music/entertainment/pop culture, a knack for storytelling, and proven expertise in social media, this is your chance to make a lasting impact.
A day in the life of a Creative Director - Social Media
- Align brand strategy with social media initiatives, ensuring cohesive execution across all platforms.
- Develop monthly/weekly social media calendars and oversee the end-to-end management of campaigns.
- Stay ahead of trends, proactively leveraging them to create engaging content.
- Deliver creative excellence in all social media initiatives, setting new benchmarks for the brand.
- Collaborate with designers to approve and publish high-quality content.
- Write compelling copy and scripts tailored to social-first storytelling.
- Oversee Online Reputation Management (ORM) and ensure quality control across all campaigns.
- Manage and mentor a team of social media professionals, fostering collaboration and high performance.
Qualities and skill sets we would like for you to showcase
- 5-7 years of proven social media experience, with a strong portfolio.
- Deep understanding of the music/entertainment/pop culture industry.
- Exceptional copywriting, storytelling, and trend-spotting abilities.
- Demonstrated expertise in creating clutter-breaking content and pushing creative boundaries.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with a proactive, results-oriented approach.
- Ability to multitask and have excellent organizational skills.
- Able to work positively in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Confident dealing with challenging situations using a variety of channels.
