Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking Software Engineers who are passionate about marrying data with emerging technologies. You’ll have the opportunity to be on the forefront of modernizing a banking core that powers over $60 billion in annual transaction volume for over 100 million active payment cards for one of the largest credit card issuers in the world.

You will work on one of five Kunai teams centralizing multiple lending processes across the organization. The goal is to build seamless connectivity across core capabilities such as pricing, risk, rating, and credit actions. Further from there you will be tasked with modernizing the key core lending components. Finally, a key goal of this project will be to decommission legacy infrastructure and usher in a “platform” solution to pricing models.  This is the ideal role for a polyglot who enjoys working across multiple languages. 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 3+ years of TypeScript and Angular - Angular 14 or higher preferred
• 3+ Experience with backend technologies like Java, Python, Golang, C#, NodeJS
• Desire to learn and work in a full-stack team that manages services in multiple tech stacks
• Experience with automated testing frameworks like Cypress
• Experience with core AWS Services or other cloud platform
• Experience with Docker & Kubernetes 
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes 
• Testing Experience - unit, functional, performance, and integration test automation
• Preferred database experience in RDBMS (PostgreSQL), NoSQL (DynamoDB)
