Product Owner
Kunai builds full-stack technology solutions for banks, credit and payment networks, infrastructure providers, and their customers. As a Product Owner, you’ll lead large scale testing teams to build and validate customer acquisition experiences and the backend services that support credit-decision microservices, which determine which card products can be assigned to new applicants. These always-on systems must be highly resilient and stable, with 99.99% uptime requirements.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute technical product strategies for client initiatives.
- Lead testing teams focused on the validation of highly resilient applications.
- Communicate project progress and updates to stakeholders through clear and compelling presentations and reports.
- Align product development efforts with business goals and customer requirements.
- Leverage agile methodologies to ensure high-quality, on-time product delivery.
Skills & Qualifications
- 4–6 years of experience as a Product Manager/Owner, with the ability to lead and run Scrum teams.
- Strong technical understanding, including a background in software engineering, platform design, and/or solutions architecture, is a strong plus.
- Exceptional communication skills for engaging effectively with internal and external teams/stakeholders.
- Experience in software testing, test automation, and tooling from a product management or engineering perspective.
- Adept at working outside of matrixed environments and managing beyond the initial project scope.
- Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly to senior-level stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Agile product management/ownership.
- Experience working on cloud-based platforms, ideally focusing on AWS.

Minimum Degree Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree, in lieu of a degree, demonstrating in addition to the minimum years of experience required for the role, three years of specialized training and/or progressively responsible work experience in technology for each missing year of college is required
