Salary Range: $140,000 - $170,000

Candidates must reside in one of the following states to be eligible: WA, OR, UT, AZ, MT, TX, CO

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of IT and AI operations professionals, executing advanced IT, software, and AI initiatives.
  • Oversee endpoint management, IT ops, administration, API integrations, and AI infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, compliance, and AI model performance.
  • Design, build, and manage AI workflows, data pipelines, and automation systems supporting Kyo’s business processes.
  • Partner with leadership to align company goals with AI-driven strategies, integrating AI tools into business and IT processes to enhance efficiency and decision-making.
  • Proactively monitor systems, troubleshoot incidents, and optimize both traditional IT and AI services for performance and scalability.
  • Drive timely completion of projects, maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Oversee build, release, and delivery processes for proprietary software and AI tools, establishing scalable and efficient procedures for development, testing, and production environments.
  • Continuously improve SDLC processes. Work with developers and DevOps to architect secure, high-performance environments.
  • Champion security best practices, vulnerability management, and risk mitigation, including logging, auditing, incident tracking, and disaster recovery.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering leadership to shape product and AI feature roadmaps.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
  • 7+ years managing IT, Engineering, and/or AI Operations teams in high-growth environment
  • Proven experience planning, building, and maintaining AI tools for  IT, and business use cases .
  • Expertise in business analysis, user requirements documentation, and business process mapping, with the ability to assess business needs and conduct build-vs-buy evaluations. Capable of discerning the technology landscape to procure, implement, and integrate software solutions that align with organizational goals.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience managing AWS or similar cloud infrastructure; AWS Certification is a plus.
  • Expertise in DevOps, including orchestration, configuration management, CI/CD, release automation, monitoring, and security.
  • Working knowledge of AWS services, Jira, GitLab, Node.js, and  MSSQL Server; cloud-based DBA experience is a plus.
  • Experience with healthcare IT security, privacy, and compliance frameworks (HIPAA or HITRUST) is a major advantage.

Physical Requirements:

  • Generally, the incumbent must be able to sit or stand and use a computer for extended periods of time.  
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. 
  • Ability to write, read and interpret documents in the English language such as employee handbooks, training materials and procedure manuals.
  • Strong internet connection and professional environment with the ability to utilize video conferencing for long periods of time with limited interruptions.
  • Willingness to travel domestically several times per year for internal meetings and relevant conferences
