Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Kyo is expanding in the Phoenix area and is seeking a BCBA committed to delivering high-quality, ethical ABA, supported by a collaborative and experienced clinical team. This is a hybrid remote position.
BCBAs AT KYO:
- Lead individualized ABA programs across home, school, and community settings, supported by Kyo’s proprietary care application and data systems.
- Support the development of Behavior Therapists and BCBA Trainees.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Education and Skills: Master’s degree in Psychology, Special Education, or a related field. Active BCBA certification.
- Transportation: Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between client and business sites.
- Availability: Availability to support clients during after-school hours (typically between 3:00–7:00 p.m., Monday–Friday).
- Physical Ability: This job requires extensive standing, walking, reaching, bending, kneeling, and crouching. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Must have the ability to communicate clearly and participate in physical and play-based therapies.

Responsibilities include:
- Direct Gateway client programs, supervise Behavior Technicians and Program Supervisors, while managing staff’s implementation of ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) services.
- Monitor and maintain timelines for report submission, and authorizations for assessment and ABA services.
- Design and deliver training in various settings (schools, in-client-home) to parents, teachers, other professionals and internal clinical unit staff.
- Manage and maintain required client caseload to allow for greatest utilization of billable hours.
- Work directly with clients onsite, conducting assessments, modeling program delivery for caregivers and clinical staff, of Autism treatment services.
- Develop treatment plans, comprehensive reports, and programs, based on assessment outcomes.
- Provide Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) supervision hours to those staff members furthering their ABA education and career.
- Provide clinical mentorship to staff. Attend and facilitate client and staff meetings as needed.
- Ensure efficacious development of ABA programs for our clients. This may include job related tasks and duties, in addition to those listed above.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- MA degree in Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal / written communication skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal and operational skills.
- Minimum 5-years experience using the principles and methodology of Applied Behavior Analysis to teach children with autism
- Minimum 3 years experience supervising behavioral programs/training staff and parents
- Minimum of 24 months as a BCBA in good standing with the BACB (Behavior Analysis Certification Board).
- Thorough understanding of typical child development.
Basic and Physical Requirements:
- Must be willing and able to hold and utilize quick body movements as indicated in the Behavior Intervention Plan in the course of working with children with challenging behavior.
- Must have manual dexterity to perform specific computer and electronic/mobile device functions for data collection.
- Must be able to receive and act on detailed information through oral communication.
- Must have visual acuity to read and comprehend written communication through computer, electronic devices, and paper means.
