Reimbursement Specialist

Summary of Job:
The Reimbursement Specialist will be an integral role of the Patient Support Program. The Reimbursement Specialist will work closely with Case Managers to facilitate the patient onboarding process.
Essential Functions:
- Contact payers to understand patient insurance benefits – medical and pharmacy benefits – for Kyowa Kirin products
- Works closely with Case Managers to assist with the patient onboarding process.
- Successfully deliver upon program goals, including predefined KPIs
- Complete the data entry process of all documents received into the Support Program
- Triage documents to appropriate parties based on defined business rules and requirements
- Support the Case Manager team with daily administrative tasks
- Follows all requirements associated with compliance to
- program guidelines and relevant regulations, including HIPAA and patient privacy
- Participates in regularly scheduled team meetings
- Assist with special projects as needed
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
Experience:
- Reimbursement experience Preferred
- Proven success in a fast-paced environment
- Patient-focused

- Proficient in MS Office Suite
