Senior CRM Manager
Kyowa Kirin is a fast-growing global specialty pharmaceutical company that applies state-of-the-art biotechnologies to discover and deliver novel medicines in four disease areas: bone and mineral; intractable hematologic; hematology oncology; and rare disease. In North America, we are headquartered in Princeton, NJ, with offices in California, North Carolina, and Mississauga, Ontario.
Candidate will be expected to be in the Princeton, NJ office as needed and live within a commutable distance.
Summary of Job:
The Senior CRM Manager will act as a strategic partner to cross-functional teams within KKNA and Kura, providing expert guidance on the effective use of Veeva CRM to support commercial and brand objectives. This role will lead the development of CRM strategies, promote best practices, and ensure alignment with key business priorities. As the primary CRM liaison for brand leadership, the Senior CRM Manager will drive cross-functional collaboration, optimize sales force enablement, and deliver scalable, data-driven CRM solutions.
Essential Functions:
- Lead strategic CRM planning efforts by facilitating high-level business requirement sessions with cross-functional stakeholders; partner with technical teams to translate insights into scalable, value-driven system enhancements.
- Own the CRM change management lifecycle, ensuring proper documentation, governance, and alignment with enterprise objectives while continuously assessing platform effectiveness across user groups.
- Oversee CRM training strategy by collaborating with internal training teams and partners to design and optimize learning programs that drive adoption and user proficiency.
- Direct CRM data governance initiatives, partnering with technical resources to ensure data integrity across databases, integrations, and reports, while implementing controls and support strategic decision-making.
- Serve as a key liaison to KKNA & Kura teams, translating strategic initiatives into actionable CRM solutions and data-driven insights; ensure platform functionality supports business goals.
- Lead the evolution of CRM-integrated dashboards and reporting capabilities, partnering with the business intelligence team to deliver real-time, actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making and drive commercial performance.
- Partner with Marketing to integrate omnichannel tactics—including CLM, approved email campaigns, and digital sales aids—seamlessly into the CRM ecosystem.
- Act as a strategic advisor to internal and external stakeholders, leveraging CRM data and user feedback to optimize engagement strategies and uncover areas for continuous improvement.
- Identify and champion opportunities for innovation, aligning CRM capabilities with emerging business needs and evolving franchise strategies.
- Ensure CRM compliance with all Kyowa Kirin policies, industry regulations, and data privacy standards through proactive monitoring and collaboration with compliance teams.
Lead special projects or cross-functional initiatives as assigned to advance franchise excellence and digital transformation objectives.
Job Requirements:
Education
Bachelor’s Degree or 6 years equivalent CRM experience is required
Experience
Minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience is required in the Pharmaceutical or Biotech industries.
Experience with CRM (Salesforce & Veeva experience preferred).
Technical Skills
Must be highly proficient with JIRA and Microsoft applications (i.e. PowerPoint, Excel, Access, etc.).
Non-Technical Skills
Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a proven ability to translate complex data and business imperatives into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences.
Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving capabilities, with a track record of leveraging data to inform decision-making and optimize CRM performance.
Skilled in executive-level presentation development, business writing, and delivering impactful training programs, particularly in support of field sales enablement.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
Physical demands: Lifting, driving, sitting, typing and extensive computer work.
Working Conditions: Requires up to 10% domestic and some international travel may be required.
The anticipated salary for this position will be $142,400 to $185,900. The actual salary offered for this role at commencement of employment may vary based on several factors including but not limited to relevant experience, skill set, qualifications, education (including applicable licenses and certifications, job-based knowledge, location, and other business and organizational needs.
