The Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games will be hosted in Los Angeles, California in 2028, returning to the United States for the first time in over 30 years. 2028 will be the first time LA hosts the Paralympic Games, creating an opportunity to expand awareness, understanding and inclusion of people with disabilities.

The LA28 organizing committee is an independent, non-profit organization that is privately funded and governed by a board of directors.

Executive Assistant to Chief Officers:
The Executive Assistant will support four Chief Officers and will be an integral part of the leadership team, primarily responsible for managing and representing the executive’s office, coordinating high-level meetings and events, and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, discretion, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while supporting departmental objectives. Key Responsibilities:
- Fully manages and represents the office of a number of C-Suite Executives; inclusive of but not limited to management of their calendar, email inbox and personal and business contacts, travel and other logistics.
- Coordinates and sends meeting invitations and agendas to attendees, books meeting rooms and arranges for IT resources and refreshments in support of a smooth and efficient meeting.
- Supports their Executives and their leadership teams in delivering departmental objectives.
- Plan and book extensive travel and associated expense management.
- Manage heavy calendars, including internal and external meetings.
- Work closely with the CEO’s Assistant on priorities for the Leadership Team.
- Maintains confidential personal information of Senior Executive and ensures information is handled appropriately.
- Acts as a communications liaison with the Functional Area as required, including composing and sending outgoing responses and teamwide communication on behalf of the Senior Executive.
- Responds to inquiries or refers them to the appropriate destination.
- Partner with team members and other colleagues across the organization to provide back-up support when necessary.
Background & Qualifications:
- 3-5 years’ experience in a senior executive support level capacity with increasing responsibilities.
- Excellent business acumen and ability to exercise initiative, tact, sound judgment and prioritization.
- Able to observe and maintain the utmost confidentiality.
- Advanced-level Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
- Comfortable with modern collaboration platforms including Slack, Teams and SharePoint.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Position Requirements:
- Ability to work in an open office environment, on-site 5 days per week
- Willingness to travel and work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

The annual base salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $80,000.00. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role. All LA28 compensation remains subject to final determination based on individual candidate qualifications, experience, or other reasonable criteria consistent with LA28’s operational business needs and applicable law.
