Associate, Insurance Administration
The Associate, Insurance Administration is responsible for day-to-day administration and oversight of insurance coverage, claims, safety, and compliance activities for construction projects insured under LA28’s insurance program. The role protects LA28’s interests by ensuring continuity of coverage, regulatory compliance, and effective claims and loss control management.
This role reports to the Venue Infrastructure Sr. Manager, Risk Management & Program Assurance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support daily operations of the insurance program across multiple construction projects
- Coordinate with insurance brokers to procure, maintain, and renew insurance coverage
- Validate contractor and subcontractor enrollment, compliance, and documentation
- Craft project specific safety manuals and loss control procedures throughout the program
- Act as liaison between Risk Management, Construction Management, brokers, carriers, and General Contractors
- Collaborate and generate executive and stakeholder reporting for insurance coverage, safety performance, loss trends, etc.
- Working with the Senior Manager, support audits and ensure no lapses in coverage or compliance obligations
Background & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Project management desired
- Minimum 2+ years of relevant claims handling experience (GL, Workers Comp, etc)
- Familiarity with sports, event management, and/or infrastructure construction
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite products and other technology solutions, including, but not limited to, Microsoft SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Smartsheet
- Experience working in unique team of full-time employees, contractors, and secondees
- Attention to detail and organization
- Ability to adapt, be flexible and pivot in an ever-changing dynamic environment

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Available to work onsite in our Downtown Los Angeles-based office. The majority of work will be conducted in an office setting, requiring extended periods of time using computers, phones, and other office equipment.
- The LA28 office is an open floorplan working environment; employees must be able to work efficiently in an open cubicle environment.
- Hours of work may vary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially during peak event periods.
- Perform other duties as required; the role will evolve over time and may include operational responsibilities during the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
- Occasional travel to venue sites during planning
- Venue based during build phase
The hourly pay range for this position is $30.29 - $35.00. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role. All LA28 compensation remains subject to final determination based on individual candidate qualifications, experience, or other reasonable criteria consistent with LA28’s operational business needs and applicable law.
