The Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games will be hosted in Los Angeles, California in 2028, returning to the United States for the first time in over 30 years. 2028 will be the first time LA hosts the Paralympic Games, creating an opportunity to expand awareness, understanding and inclusion of people with disabilities.

The LA28 organizing committee is an independent, non-profit organization that is privately funded and governed by a board of directors.

Digital Asset Manager

We’re looking for a Digital Asset Manager to join the Editorial Services team within Digital Engagement & Marketing. This pivotal role will oversee the management, trafficking, and archiving of photo and video assets for LA28. 

As our Digital Asset Manager, you’ll be the go-to expert on marketing assets—responsible for organizing and tagging content, collaborating with Legal and Marketing on usage rights, and enhancing and maintaining our new DAM platform. You’ll partner closely with the Digital and Brand teams to ensure our assets are not only well managed but strategically leveraged. 

This is a hands-on, results-oriented role for someone who thrives on creating tangible outcomes across cross-functional teams and takes pride in being a brand steward for LA28. You’ll help shape how the world experiences the Olympic and Paralympic movement through the lens of our athletes and fans. This position reports to the Head of Editorial Services. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the onboarding, configuration, and ongoing development of the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system
  • Collaborate with Digital, Brand Design, Technology, and Legal teams to ensure all assets are properly tagged, cataloged, and maintained 
  • Develop and manage workflows for internal asset requests including intake, tracking, and delivery ensuring timely responses to stakeholders 
  • Oversee post-production processes in partnership with Digital and Brand Design teams, maintaining unified guidelines for metadata entry, image processing, and file delivery 
  • Contribute to the Digital Engagement & Marketing team’s overall marketing strategies and activities 

Background & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in digital asset management
  • Proven experience building and implementing DAM systems 
  • Proficient in creative software such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Frame.io, and comparable platforms 
  • Strong knowledge of file formats across print, digital, and video 

Position Requirements:

  • Ability to work on-site in an open office environment, based in Los Angeles, CA  
  • The majority of work will be conducted in an office setting, requiring extended periods of time using computers, phones, and other office equipment 
  • Hours of work may vary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially during peak event periods 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent working experience  

Expectations:

  • Self-starter with a passion for the Olympic and Paralympic movement 
  • Exceptional organizational, verbal, and written communication skills 
  • Adept at working quickly, resourcefully, and with a sharp eye for detail

The annual base salary range for this position is $88,000.00 - $115,000.00. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role. All LA28 compensation remains subject to final determination based on individual candidate qualifications, experience, or other reasonable criteria consistent with LA28’s operational business needs and applicable law.
