The Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games will be hosted in Los Angeles, California in 2028, returning to the United States for the first time in over 30 years. 2028 will be the first time LA hosts the Paralympic Games, creating an opportunity to expand awareness, understanding and inclusion of people with disabilities.

LA28, the organizers for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles, is on a mission to create an unparalleled Games experience for athletes, fans, partners, our community and our people. Our vision is to collectively create what’s next through sport, community and the power of our differences.

The 2028 Olympics and Paralympics will represent LA and leverage the strength of our community’s creativity as we collectively work to design a Games that we all want to be a part of. We do this by focusing on people and by inviting everyone into the story of the LA28 Games.

The LA28 organizing committee is an independent, non-profit organization that is privately funded and governed by a board of directors.

Executive Assistant:

  • Fully manages and represents the office of a C-Suite Executive; inclusive of but not limited to management of their calendar, email inbox and personal and business contacts. 
  • Coordinates and sends meeting invitations and agendas to attendees, books meeting rooms and arranges for IT resources and refreshments in support of a smooth and efficient meeting. 
  • Supports C-Suite Executive and their leadership team in delivering departmental objectives 
  • Organize and coordinate weekly Marketing team meetings, monthly operations reviews, board presentations, quarterly and yearly planning process, etc. 
  • Plan and execute Marketing team events and offsites. 
  • Plan extensive travel for C-Suite Executives and team partners 
  • Manage heavy calendars, including internal and external meetings. 
  • Work closely with the CEO’s Assistant on priorities for the Leadership Team. 
  • Maintains confidential personal information of C-Suite Executives and ensures information is handled appropriately. 
  • Acts as a communications liaison with Department as required, including composing and sending outgoing responses and teamwide communication on behalf of the C-Suite Executives. 
  • Responds to inquiries or refers them to the appropriate destination. 
  • Partner with team members and other colleagues across the company to provide back-up support when necessary. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating independently, with a self-starter attitude  
  • Digging into the details, and demonstrating a natural curiosity. 
  • Communicating clearly, succinctly, and effectively, in both speaking and writing.  
  • Knowing when and how to block and tackle for your C-Suite Executives, while remaining approachable and helpful. 
  • Proactively organizing and managing projects to completion.

 

Position Requirements:

Education:

  • BA or BS degree preferred; High School diploma or GED required

Expectations:

  • 3-5  years’ experience in a senior executive support level capacity with increasing responsibilities 
  • Excellent business acumen and ability to exercise initiative, tact, sound judgment and prioritization 
  • Able to observe and maintain the utmost confidentiality 
  • Advanced-level Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint proficiency 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever changing environment

The pay range for this position is $33.17 - $37.00 per hour. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role. All LA28 compensation remains subject to final determination based on individual candidate qualifications, experience, or other reasonable criteria consistent with LA28’s operational business needs and applicable law.
