LA28 is the independent, non-profit, privately funded organizing committee for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The 2028 Games mark the return of the Summer Games to the U.S. for the first time in 32 years and Los Angeles’ third time hosting an Olympic Games and first time welcoming the Paralympic Games. This presents the unique and exciting opportunity to celebrate our legacy with the Games and push the Olympic and Paralympic Movements forward, writing a new chapter of Games history in Los Angeles.

Manager, Ticket Marketing:

The Games Delivery and Revenue team oversees the Ticketing, Hospitality and  
Food & Beverage departments. This department is responsible for securing key revenue streams for LA28, ensuring sold out and fully attended events. 

Reporting to the Director of Ticket Sales Marketing at LA28. This position will serve as the strategic engagement leader for sales communication, customer journey, audience development, and oversee campaign reporting. This position will work hand in hand with LA28 marketing, while also serving as the primary point of contact for our Ticket Service Provider asset creation. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns to promote LA28 Olympic and Paralympic tickets 
  • Lead cross-functional marketing initiatives across digital, social, experiential, and traditional media to build anticipation for a globally renowned, major sporting event 
  • Collaborate with internal creative and digital marketing teams to develop compelling storytelling, visuals, and campaign assets. 
  • Manage go to market plans with LA28 partners (International Olympic Committee, International Federations, National Governing Bodies, sponsors, etc.) 
  • Develop sport specific marketing plans to drive ticket sales 
  • Leverage data insights and analytics to optimize campaign performance and audience engagement 
  • Develop targeted audience engagement strategies to connect with fans and stakeholders of the Olympic and Paralympic Games 
  • Manage a master marketing calendar and align with key functional areas including ticketing, marketing, creative and technology  
  • Support the successful delivery of event activations at sporting and cultural events in Los Angeles 

Background & Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant industry experience  
  • Strategic marketer with track record of delivery and success. 
  • Strong project management skills and collaborator with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders 
  • Experience working creative and digital media team

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions 

  • Ability to work on-site in an open office environment, based in Los Angeles, CA  
  • The majority of work will be conducted in an office setting, requiring extended periods of time using computers, phones, and other office equipment 
  • Hours of work may vary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially during peak event periods. 

Expectations:

  • High level of attention to detail and consistency 
  • Passion for the Olympic and Paralympic Movements and a commitment to LA28’s values 
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills  
  • Must be available to work some nights and weekends to support activation events 
  • Preferred, but not required: Bilingual in English and Spanish 

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required

The annual base salary range for this position is $88,000-$115,000. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role. All LA28 compensation remains subject to final determination based on individual candidate qualifications, experience, or other reasonable criteria consistent with LA28’s operational business needs and applicable law.
