Manager, Mobile Devices
LA28 does not provide relocation assistance for any positions. If you are based outside the Los Angeles area, we still welcome your application — we value talent from all geographic backgrounds and want to hear from you if you are able to work on-site in LA.
Role Purpose
As Manager, Mobile Devices, you will establish and run the mobile device management service that keeps LA28's workforce connected and secure in the years leading up to the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Reporting to the Senior Director, Infrastructure & Support, you own how iOS and Android devices — staff BYOD, shared, and company-owned — are enrolled, secured, and supported. This is a hands-on, individual-contributor role with broad exposure across technology, security, and operations.
Key Responsibilities
· Own and operate LA28's mobile device management service across staff BYOD and company-owned iOS, Android, tablets, shared devices, and Android-based IoT endpoints.
· Administer Microsoft Intune for day-to-day management, including enrollment, configuration profiles, compliance policies, app and policy deployment, security baselines, and lifecycle support.
· Define and maintain LA28 mobile MDM standards, operating procedures, and support models for consistent, repeatable delivery.
· Support the deployment and adoption of Workspace ONE as a Games-time unified endpoint management (UEM) platform, partnering with the service provider and internal technology teams.
· Collaborate with Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Applications, and PMO stakeholders to keep mobile devices secure, supportable, and ready for Games-time use.
· Monitor device compliance, health, and service performance, and drive remediation through documented processes.
Required Competencies
· 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting, administering, or engineering mobile device management (MDM) services for iOS and Android devices in an enterprise environment.
· Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Intune, including enrollment, configuration profiles, compliance policies, application deployment, and lifecycle support.
· Knowledge of Apple and Android enterprise management, including Apple Business Manager, Samsung Knox, supervised devices, automated enrollment, and device security controls.
· Working knowledge of mobile application deployment, managed app configuration, and app protection, plus endpoint security, identity, conditional access, and data protection for mobile devices.
· Ability to define and operate an MDM service as an individual contributor, including standards, procedures, support workflows, and operational documentation such as SOPs and runbooks.
Valued Experience
· Familiarity with Workspace ONE or other unified endpoint management (UEM) platforms; direct Workspace ONE experience is not required.
· Experience supporting device deployments through pilot planning, testing, change management, and operational handoff.
· A degree or certification in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
What We Offer
· Real ownership of a mobile device management service you establish and run end to end.
· Career-defining exposure across cybersecurity, infrastructure, applications, and Games-time operations.
· The chance to build durable, transferable skills in unified endpoint management at the scale of the Games.
What This Role Means for the Games
The devices you manage put secure technology in the hands of the workforce that runs the Games. When mobile devices simply work, teams across venues and operations can focus on delivering for athletes and fans.
