  • Identify new scientific use cases and problem statements, expanding Labviva’s platform to address unmet researcher needs.
  • Work with data teams to enhance scientific ontologies and taxonomies, ensuring accurate and structured product classification.
  • Leverage AI/ML and natural language processing (NLP) to improve semantic search and entity recognition for life science products.
  • Collaborate with engineering to define and prioritize the product roadmap, balancing technical feasibility and scientific accuracy.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to search relevance, user engagement, and conversion.
  • Work cross-functionally with suppliers, operations, and marketing to improve product discoverability and selection.

What You Bring to the Team

  • Degree in a life sciences discipline (chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology, or related fields). MS or PhD a plus.
  • 2+ years experience in product management within a SaaS, marketplace, or life sciences technology company.
  • Strong understanding of scientific research workflows and the life sciences R&D process.
  • Familiarity with scientific taxonomies, ontologies, and structured metadata for organizing life sciences data.
  • Ability to translate scientific knowledge into user-friendly product experiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work closely with engineers and data teams.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with diverse teams.
  • Familiarity with LIMS, ELNs, or other R&D informatics tools.

We provide a competitive set of benefits including but not limited to a hybrid – office/remote work option, health benefits, discretionary time off, parental leave, competitive salary and equity, and Thursday company lunches.

We are an equal opportunity employer and building a diverse team is our top priority. At Labviva, we celebrate all. Help us build an inclusive community that will transform the life sciences industry. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, religion, national origin or ancestry, age, disability, marital status, pregnancy, protected veteran status, protected genetic information, political affiliation, or any other characteristics as outlined by federal, state or local laws, regulations, or ordinances.

Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
