Your next opportunity awaits! Genesis Santa Monica, a leading Automotive Dealership, is seeking a skilled and experienced Master Technician to join our team. 

We’re now offering a generous signing bonus ranging from $10,000 to $15,000, depending on experience. 
*The bonus is partially paid after 90 days of continuous employment, with the remaining amount paid out at the 6-month mark.

Responsibilities

The Master Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

  • Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunction of vehicles and perform repairs.
  • Accurately document record of all repairs, services and maintenance performed on vehicles in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
  • Collaborate with service team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of prior experience as an Automotive Service Technician in a dealership setting is required. 
  • Kia/Hyundai/Genesis Master Technician certification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Honda vehicles and diagnostic systems and problem-solving skills.
  • ASE, Smog, and manufacturer certifications are desired.
  • A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Compensation

  • The estimated hourly production rate range for this position is $33.00 - $50.00.
