Responsibilities
The Automotive Quality Control Specialist is responsible for conducting thorough inspections of customer vehicles after the Repair Order (RO) is completed but before the customer arrives. This role ensures that all services and repairs have been properly performed, verifying repair accuracy and issue resolution to guarantee a "fix it right the first time" standard.
- Review and verify the completion of all services and repairs listed on the RO.
- Perform detailed vehicle inspections and test drives to confirm that all issues are resolved.
- Identify and address any incomplete or unresolved repairs by collaborating with technicians and service advisors.
- Document and report recurring quality issues or patterns to service management.
- Ensure vehicles meet dealership and manufacturer quality standards before delivery to the customer.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in automotive quality control, technician, or service advisor roles preferred.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair processes.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to identify incomplete repairs or unresolved issues.
- Communication Skills: Effective collaboration with service staff to resolve quality concerns.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
Compensation
- The estimated hourly rate range for this position is $17.30 - $21.00.
