Responsibilities
The Used Car Manager is responsible for overseeing the acquisition and management of the dealership’s used vehicle inventory. 
  • Plays a crucial role in the dealership's used car acquisitions by interacting with customers, brokers, auctions, and other sources to purchase vehicles.
  • Takes charge of appraising, purchasing, reconditioning, displaying, and merchandising the used vehicle inventory.
  • Sets and forecasts sales goals, gross profit targets, and key expenses on both a monthly and annual basis.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years of prior Used Car Sales Manager experience in an Automotive Dealership setting is preferred. 
  • High-energy, results-driven attitude with strong leadership and coaching skills
  • Previous experience with high-volume automotive sales, buying, and appraisals
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build rapport with customers.
  • Proficiency in automotive valuation tools and dealership management systems
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • You must have or acquire a valid California Vehicle Salesperson License
Compensation 
  • The estimated annual earnings for this position are $120,000.00 - $200,000.00 after factoring in all forms of compensation including salary, commissions, bonuses, etc.
  • Employees in this position will receive a base salary of approximately $6,000.00 per month, plus commissions and bonuses based on performance.
Please keep in mind that this range may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location.
