Responsibilities

The Used Car Technician will be responsible for servicing and repairing multiple vehicles makes and models as assigned by the service department. 

  • Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunction of vehicles and perform repairs.
  • Accurately document record of all repairs, services and maintenance performed on vehicles in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
  • Collaborate with service team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.

Qualifications

  • Required: At least 2 years of prior experience as an Automotive Used Car Technician is required.
  • Required: Must have experience performing maintenance and repairs on all makes and models.
  • ASE and manufacturer certifications are preferred. A Smog License (Test and Repair) is a major plus, and A/C certification is also a bonus.
  • Must have own tools.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Schedule 

  • This is a full-time, onsite position requiring availability Tuesday through Saturday. 

Compensation

  • The estimated hourly rate range for this position is $33.00 - $45.00.
