Responsibilities

The Internet Sales Consultant is responsible for engaging with customers who inquire online, guiding them through the vehicle selection process, and delivering an exceptional guest experience from first contact to final sale.

  • Respond promptly and professionally to internet leads, calls, and emails to build trust and establish strong customer relationships.
  • Engage customers with consultative selling skills to help them select a vehicle and make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new vehicle models, and competitive offerings to effectively communicate product advantages and detailed specifications to customers.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in CRM software, online sales tools, and virtual communication platforms to manage leads and track progress.
  • Ensure optimal levels of customer satisfaction and client retention by addressing questions and concerns promptly and effectively.

Qualifications

  • Prior automotive sales experience preferred, but not required.
  • Internet sales experience is a big plus.
  • Must be local to the South Bay area.
  • Commission sales background and a strong desire to grow in a lucrative career.
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and excellent communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
  • You must have or acquire a valid California Vehicle Salesperson License.

Compensation

  • The estimated annual earnings for this position are $35,152.00 - $150,000.00 after factoring in all forms of compensation including hourly pay, commissions, overtime, etc.
  • Employees in this position will primarily be paid commissions based on performance but will also be paid minimum wage for non-sales work and for rest periods.
