Partner Performance Manager (data analytics insurance)
About the Role:
We are looking for a highly analytical, business-savvy Partner Performance Manager to join our team. This role is not just about pulling data—it’s about interpreting it, identifying strategic opportunities, and directly impacting business outcomes. You will serve as a critical bridge between data analytics and business execution, ensuring that our partnerships operate at peak performance while uncovering areas for growth and optimization.
As part of our Business Development team, you will proactively analyze performance trends, identify inefficiencies, and provide actionable insights to drive revenue and improve partner relationships. You will work closely with internal stakeholders across business development, product, and engineering to ensure our partnership strategies are informed by data-driven decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a strategic thought partner to the BD team, leveraging data to optimize partner performance and identify new opportunities.
- Conduct proactive deep-dive analyses to uncover revenue-driving insights, conversion optimizations, and efficiency improvements.
- Monitor partner performance trends and provide regular insights to leadership, flagging data discrepancies and business risks before they impact results.
- Develop and maintain performance dashboards and reporting tools that surface key trends in real-time.
- Work with business leaders to define and refine key success metrics, ensuring alignment between data insights and company goals.
- Collaborate with data engineering to ensure data accuracy and integrity across all reporting functions.
- Proactively identify data gaps and inconsistencies, working cross-functionally to enhance data quality and analytical depth.
- Present insights and recommendations to executive leadership in a clear, compelling manner that drives business action.
Education and Experience:
- BA/BS in Business, Economics, Data Science, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or a strategic finance role, ideally in a partnerships, marketplace, or commercial strategy function.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
- Experience working with data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, Sigma, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of financial and operational metrics within partnerships, marketplaces, or revenue-generating teams.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, ideally within fintech, e-commerce, or B2B/B2C marketplaces.
Must Have:
- Strong commercial mindset—ability to connect data insights with real business impact.
- Proactive, independent thinker who doesn’t just analyze but questions and optimizes.
- Comfortable working in ambiguity, prioritizing effectively, and driving clarity through data.
- Ability to tell a story with data—strong communication and presentation skills.
- A relentless focus on accuracy, attention to detail, and problem-solving.
- Passion for partnerships and marketplace dynamics, with a natural curiosity to explore new growth levers.
This role is ideal for a data-driven strategist who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys connecting analytical rigor with business success.
