Schedule & Compensation
• Overnight shifts (typically 7:00pm–7:00am)
• Flexible scheduling options available
• Must be available for at least one weekend day
• Pay Range: $30–$40/hour (based on experience)
• +$4/hr shift differential for shifts worked Monday–Sunday, 7:00pm–7:00am
• +$2/hr shift differential for shifts worked Saturday & Sunday, 7:00am–7:00pm
• Night shift sign-on bonus available
• Eligible for performance-based bonus
Position Summary
As an Overnight Emergency LVT at PSVSE, you will play a key role in stabilizing, monitoring, and advocating for critically ill patients throughout the night. This role requires strong clinical skills, independent thinking, and the ability to remain focused and composed during high-pressure situations.
Overnight teams operate with a high level of trust and collaboration; your voice matters, your skills are utilized, and your ability to anticipate patient needs is essential. What You’ll Do
• Perform advanced technical skills including IV catheter placement, blood draws, anesthesia monitoring, and emergency stabilization
• Triage incoming patients and assist in prioritizing urgent cases
• Monitor hospitalized and critical patients, identifying and communicating changes quickly
• Administer medications and treatments with accuracy and efficiency
• Support emergency procedures and diagnostics with confidence
• Maintain detailed and accurate medical records
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients during overnight visits
• Collaborate closely with doctors and support staff to maintain strong workflow and patient care standards
• Take initiative in patient advocacy and support team operations during overnight hours
What We’re Looking For
• Active Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) credential required
• Minimum of 1 year of veterinary experience required (ER or specialty preferred)
• Strong technical and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently while remaining a collaborative team player
• Calm, adaptable, and compassionate under pressure
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities

Pay Rate: $28-$38 per hour
