Senior Brand Designer

We seek a talented Senior Brand Designer to lead and execute design projects that define and elevate our visual identity and brand. This role is crucial in shaping how Lambda is perceived across all touch points. As part of the design team, you’ll create exceptional brand experiences for our customers and users.

What You’ll Do

  • Be a key contributor to the creation and evolution of our brand identity - creating beautiful and intuitive designs for marketing, product, and internal initiatives
  • Work with marketing, product, and engineering teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging and high-quality design outputs
  • You will craft design assets across web, print, and presentation
  • Manage multiple design projects to ensure timely delivery
  • Experiment with new design tools to enhance the brand’s visual appeal
  • Help create and develop design processes that scale with team  

You Are...

  • You are not a cog in the machine, you’re a people person!....But please, attach your cover sheet to your TPS reports…that would be great.
  • You are a hands-on full stack brand designer with expert level skills in graphic, digital, and motion design.
  • You possess expertise in refining vector artwork, encompassing logo design, iconography, and illustration. You have a track record of:
  • Creating multiple websites, with a penchant for grid layouts and a sharp eye for typography and font combinations.
  • Crafting motion assets using prototyping software, 2D motion tools like After Effects, or 3D software.
  • Adapting your aesthetic output to align with brand guidelines while exploring novel visual directions.
  • Thriving on establishing brands and design systems from scratch, having executed brand refreshes and full rebrands.
  • Demonstrating agility in iterating designs swiftly within a fast-paced creative setting.
  • Maintaining a humble approach with a team-first mindset, relishing collaboration within a tight-knit team.
  • Leveraging data and quantitative insights to drive design decisions.
  • Articulating the rationale behind design choices and embracing qualitative analysis with a rational, balanced perspective.
  • Being adept at providing and receiving constructive feedback.
  • Engaging effectively with diverse stakeholders, both technical and non-technical (Product/Engineering and Marketing).
  • Keeping abreast of industry trends and design methodologies.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in brand design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your ability to solve complex design problems
  • You are a hands-on designer.
  • Expert level in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools
  • Have a strong understanding of typography, color theory, and visual composition
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and feedback clearly
  • Are experienced with website design, UI/UX, Presentation design, Print design, Event design
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Love ideation, iteration, and attention to detail (pixel perfection)
  • A degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field is preferred but not required

Nice to Have

  • AI design techniques- Stable diffusion, prompt engineering, and AI automation in design workflow
  • Advanced motion/3D skills: compositing, rendering, rotoscoping
  • Photography skills, video, editing
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in the machine learning or computer hardware industry

Salary Range Information 

Based on market data and other factors, the salary range for this position is $185,000 - $200,000. However, a salary higher or lower than this range may be appropriate for a candidate whose qualifications differ meaningfully from those listed in the job description.
