Local Sales Executive - West

Summary:

Under the supervision of the Head of Brand/Marketing, the Local Sales Executive is responsible for developing sales strategies and tactics for Landmark Theatres. They will oversee the successful rollout
and implementation of sales campaigns and initiatives in the market. The key focus of this role is to drive and deliver admissions, revenue, and EBITDA goals across the business and for each location.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Sales Plans (10%)

• Develop 12-month sales and marketing plans for Landmark Theatres in collaboration with the Head of Marketing.
• Focus on key sales activation areas to drive revenue, admissions, and EBITDA.
• Create strong strategic sales programs (private screenings, corporate sales, gift cards) for key selling periods with a month-by-month breakdown.
• Utilize key learnings from other business units or previous year activities.
• Deliver the sales plan within the allocated sales budget.
• Establish a clear strategic vision for the brand through sales.
• Work with theatre General Managers to develop localized sales plans by site. 

Sales Reporting (15%)

• Provide key reports on the status of sales activation programs for each location in the market.
• Assess private screenings, private events, gift card sales, Aficionado sales, corporate sales, sales calls, and leads.
• Develop proposals for major sales campaigns and seek approval.
• Offer updates on key local sales initiatives, implementation status, results, areas of concern, and new business development.
• Conduct regular reviews with film, marketing, operations teams, and agencies if applicable.
• Get contracts signed and payments collected and sales input on correct date.

Private Screenings/Events (25%)

• Create private screening sales campaigns for execution at various sites.
• Build a corporate database for private screening bookings, leads, sales calls, and advertising.
• Monitor and drive local efforts for bookings, leads, sales calls, and advertising.
• Attend and assist in executing major events to meet customer expectations.
• Develop a feedback system for clients.

Corporate Sales and Partnerships (25%)

• Negotiate and drive key client contacts and agreements.
• Develop key corporate sales strategies for maximum return on the channel through prepaid business and advertising where applicable.
• Generate new revenue through daytime facility management (corporate conferences, seminars) and develop a daytime sales strategy for local teams.
• Drive advertising sales for each location.
• Identify and generate corporate partners to drive the brand through exposure and consumer promotion.
• Develop and present partner proposals and project manage any new programs through execution into the business.
• Attend and help execute major events to customer expectations.
• Develop a feedback system for clients.
• They would be available to go to distributor/studio events in markets where they are located to ensure quality control and be a point of contact.

Gift Cards & Aficionado Tickets (20%)

• Develop and implement local holiday (Christmas) Gift Card Sales campaigns and other retail campaigns.
• Market and measure performance and the financial impact on the business.
• Source and develop new channels to best drive the Gift Card product.
• Evolve card concept, development, and design.

Sales Budget (5%)

• Manage the sales budget for COMPANY.
• Create budget tracking procedures for each location and sales cost center.
• Reduce sales expenditure in non-essential areas.
• Manage the sales budget process throughout the year, keeping locations on track.
• Allocate the budget effectively to help drive key periods and revenue, admissions.

Qualification's

Education/Experience: A bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field or a minimum of 3 years of sales experience, Restaurant, Events, Catering.

Knowledge: Computers Mac/PC proficient in office software, database programs etc.

Skills/Abilities: Communication, Sales, Networking.

Physical Characteristics: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Salary Range

$65,000 - $78,000 USD
