Job Summary
Langan is seeking a HRIS Analyst to join its collaborative team. This individual will serve as the primary functional expert for SAP SuccessFactors Human Capital Management (HCM), with a focus on Employee Central and future system modules. The HRIS Analyst will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and optimizing HR technology solutions that support key people processes, data integrity, and organizational effectiveness. In this role, you will partner closely with Human Resources, Information Technology, and external vendors to implement scalable solutions, support system enhancements, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement across HR systems.
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert and escalation point for SAP SuccessFactors HCM modules, including Employee Central, and future slated modules.
- Configure and maintain business rules, workflows, and role-based permissions (RBP), to support HR operations.
- Design and maintain Employee Central foundational structures (organizational management, positions, job classifications, locations, and pay structures), ensuring alignment with downstream processes.
- Partner with HR, IT, and business leaders to gather requirements and implement scalable, system-driven solutions aligned with business needs.
- Troubleshoot system, data, and integration issues; perform root cause analysis and coordinate resolution with IT teams and external vendors to ensure system stability and data integrity.
- Lead testing efforts including unit, integration, user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Support system enhancements, updates, and ongoing maintenance, ensuring successful deployment of new functionality and integrations.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, process flows, configuration standards, and HR data governance practices to support consistency, compliance, and audit readiness.
- Create and deliver training materials, job aids, and user support, driving adoption of self-service functionality and HR technologies.
- Assess downstream impacts of configuration and process changes across modules, ensuring cross-functional alignment and system integrity.
- Collaborate with SAP SuccessFactors consultants, third-party vendors, and internal IT teams to deliver system projects and enhancements.
- Maintain expertise through SuccessFactors Community engagement, release updates, and continuous professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, coursework relating to HR a plus;
- Prior related professional experience in Human Resources;
- Exposure to database management;
- Passion and interest in human capital metrics;
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment;
- Extreme attention to detail; work must be accurate and thorough;
- Strong problem solving techniques and ability to effectively present information;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and multitask efficiently;
- Sound judgment capability;
- Maintain extreme confidentiality at all times;
- Experience with writing and running queries a plus;
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and HR database program(s); and
- Ability to use intermediate and advanced formulas and functions in Excel: v-lookups, pivot tables, etc.
