The ideal candidate will be eager to learn developing conceptual, preliminary and detailed designs, drawings and specifications for the following disciplines:

• Fire protection (performance specifications)
• Plumbing
• Mechanical and piping.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Under the direction of a Senior Engineer

• Compile and edit technical documents
• Perform technical calculations with support from senior engineers
• Complete deliverables within the agreed scope, timelines and budget
• Technical writing expertise with excellent written and oral communication skills
• Comfortable working in a multi-discipline setting, with ability to coordinate and communicate with each discipline
• Evaluate and select equipment, technologies and suppliers

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
• EIT licensure
• 2-5 years’ experience

• Knowledge of mechanical codes and standards including ASHRAE, ACGIH and NFPA
• Familiarity with ISPE and HACCP requirements
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, Revit
• Experience in the Pharmaceutical or Food and Beverage industry is a plus.

10-20% travel is expected for this position.
