The Project Architect will:

  • Develop design and construction documents throughout all project phases using Revit
  • Collaborate with architecture team members on design of projects throughout all phases of project, from concept design through construction documentation.
  • Contribute to project modeling and documentation through Revit via Autodesk Construction Cloud.
  • Provide technical review of project documents prepared by junior architectural staff.
  • Provide mentorship to junior architectural staff supporting development of emerging professionals.
  • Develop project specifications for material selections beginning with outline specifications and concluding with full length specifications to pair with construction documentation.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (engineering, designers, project managers, sub-consultants)
  • Provide technical review and coordination markups of engineering drawing sets to ensure alignment of disciplines with architectural design throughout project phases.
  • Actively participate in internal and client meetings with the ability to communicate architectural design through presentation materials and drawing reviews.
  • Apply technical knowledge of building systems to ensure quality deliverables.
  • Participate in construction administration efforts as required including submittal review, response to RFIs, and on-site field walks.

 

Minimum qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture from an accredited architectural program with architecture licensure achieved
    • Applicants that are not yet licensed but on the path to licensure will be considered
  • 5+ years of professional architecture experience
  • Proficiency in Revit required
  • Knowledge of building and accessibility codes required

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • Proficiency with Bluebeam preferred
  • Experience in industrial and laboratory facilities preferred
  • LEED AP professional credentials preferred
