Director of Ecommerce
Description
La Senza is seeking an ambitious, creative, and analytical Director of eCommerce to manage E-Commerce growth activities through an accelerated growth phase for the brand. This role requires a business leader with a can-do, test-and-learn, entrepreneurial and innovative mindset. The candidate will direct day-to-day operations on-site with responsibility and accountability for topline sales, operating metrics, KPI’s, site budget management. This candidate will support the La Senza eCommerce digital experience, identifying the most promising areas for growth, optimizing and testing, to ensure traffic directed onsite is being optimized efficiently for conversion. Leadership of site calendar and promo strategy, onsite merchandising strategy to maximize product optimization, new customer acquisition, site experience and drive engagement. This role leads a small team across site merchandising, and digital marketing functions; but also partners closely cross-functionally with Marketing, IT, Planning, Finance and Merchandising.
Responsibilities:
- Manage website updates and maintenance in collaboration with our web developer.
- Lead site merchandising strategy, especially for new product launches.
- Oversee technical aspects of websites and troubleshoot issues with our in-house web developer.
- Create and manage site content calendars aligned with marketing campaigns and promotions.
- Collaborate with our Digital Agency on A/B testing strategies and execute paid campaigns.
- Lead Email/SMS marketing strategy and provide guidance on automated flows and campaigns.
- Work with the Art Department on web content requirements and asset specifications.
- Produce ecommerce performance dashboards and analyze site KPIs for optimizations.
- Partner with the CMO on technology roadmap and future UX enhancements.
- Manage a team of two direct reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Ecommerce, Marketing, or related field.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in DTC Ecommerce, preferably in fashion.
- Strong proficiency in Shopify and Google Analytics.
- Strong Knowledge of SEO/SEM strategies.
- Familiarity with Klaviyo experience preferred.
- Understanding of Shopify front end and back-end functionalities.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
