Shop Floor Control Coordinator
Lasko Products, an industry leader in the design and manufacture of portable fans and heaters for over 100 years, is seeking a Shop Floor Control Coordinator to join our team at our Fort Worth, Texas location.
The Shop Floor Control Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of materials/orders on the production floor, coordinating with various departments to ensure efficient flow of material, production schedules and customer needs. This role involves tracking work order progress, directing location delivery of materials, expediting material, and managing inventory to minimize shortages.
Essential Functions
- Coordinates the daily/shift by shift flow/movement of material between Injection Molding presses and Assembly lines.
- Analyzes and understands of molding schedule and assembly schedule to efficiently direct the flow of material to assembly line, staging area or warehouse storage.
- Understand and analyze overall warehouse inventory levels in the warehouse to maximize labor efficiency, minimize inventory and reduce slow moving inventory.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

- Must be able to communicate well with team and upper management.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to assure delivery requirements.

- Ability to follow documented procedures and standards.
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to work independently with little supervision.
- Able to follow instructions and safety procedures (wearing PPE).

- Ability to frequently lift objects that are 25 pounds or more.
- Capable of using hand tools and have ability to operate machines when needed.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms, consistent bending, stooping, and pushing and pulling.
Work Environment
Warehouse environment is an uncontrolled atmosphere building. The manufacturing environment you will be exposed to dust, odors, and noise. Extensive visits to the outdoor shipping dock and holding yard required.
