Forklift Operator - Receiving 2nd Shift

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our Receiving team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is essential to ensuring the efficient and timely movement of materials supporting our production lines. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
  • Unload inbound trucks and transport raw materials and components to designated storage areas.
  • Stage and deliver materials to production areas based on scheduling needs.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and properly document all material movement.
  • Perform daily forklift inspections and promptly report any safety or maintenance issues.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all company safety policies, PPE requirements, and operational procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily objectives.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid forklift certification and proven experience in warehouse or manufacturing operations.
  • Knowledge of forklift safety, material-handling procedures, and inventory accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required. Must be able to read and write in English.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
  • Frequent bending, pushing, and pulling.
  • Comfortable working in varying temperatures and around moving equipment.
