LastPass is looking for a Web Designer:  

The web marketing team at LastPass is looking for a Web Designer with strong UX experience and a mindset centered around improving the effectiveness of website experiences to drive business conversion goals. With prospects visiting the site from a variety of sources, you’ll need to consider every step of their journey through purchase, think big, disrupt status quo, and partner with other team to drive design decision that elevate product presentation and improve user experience.  

 About the team: 

The LastPass web marketing team plays a crucial role in driving brand awareness, user engagement, and product adoption through an effective digital presence. Focused on creating a user-friendly and informative experience and rigorously testing new CRO ideas, this team combines expertise in digital strategy, design, and content to connect with prospects and existing customers.

 Who will you work with? 

The web marketing team at LastPass collaborates closely with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and impactful online presence. Internally, you’ll work with product teams to align messaging with features, the sales team to drive pipeline and other marketing teams to deliver on integrated got-to-market strategy. You’ll also partner with content creators, developers, and analytics teams to enhance website performance and reach. Your key stakeholders will include executive leadership, who define strategic goals, and customers, whose needs shape site design and content. Externally, you’ll collaborate with agencies and vendors for marketing campaign design and execution. 

 What are some of the exciting challenges you will be working on? 

  • Create exceptional user web experiences that prioritize the needs and behaviors of users and lead to desired business actions, such as purchases, sign-ups, or other conversions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product owners, scrum leads, content strategists, copywriters, developers, and organizational leaders in brainstorming and creating concepts end-to-end
  • Convey design ideas via sketches, storyboards, user flows, wireframes and prototypes that consider the entire user journey, from awareness to post-conversion, ensuring that every touchpoint optimizes the likelihood of conversion while maintaining a positive user experience.
  • Constantly test, analyze feedback and iterate on web designs via A/B testing, user testing, and other methods to refine designs based on real user feedback and performance metrics
  • Identify barriers to website conversion and creatively solve these problems with design solutions that align with both user needs and business objectives
  • Produce final high-fidelity designs and optimized assets, showing a strong understanding of design principles applied to our customer base and current design ecosystem
  • Enhance existing design systems to better align with brand style guidelines, product UX and web production needs as well as making it scalable and flexible to remove UX dependencies and friction in production velocity
  • Work closely with engineering and web publishing teams throughout the implementation cycle to help with user stories, specs creations, and design QA 

What does it take to work at LastPass?  

  • Experience in the field of experience design with deep knowledge of UI/UX patterns, visual design principles, and best practices across all web touchpoints and form factors
  • Proven track record and portfolio of winning experience strategy and design case studies and that show how your work meets user needs, product requirements, and business goals.  
  • Prior experience with marketing SaaS products for both B2C and B2B  
  • Skills in responsive design or mobile first design - attention to detail across many breakpoints for a consistent experience
  • Experience in conducting cross-channel collaboration and driving UX web strategy in large organizations with multiple stakeholders
  • Familiarity working in an Agile scrum environment and its associated principles
  • Experience with conversion testing and landing page/funnel optimization via interactive prototypes, customer journey maps, service blueprints, and detailed user experience flow diagrams
  • Proficiency with Figma, Adobe CC, UserTesting.com
  • Data-driven mindset 

It's great, but not required:  

  • Experience working with Stable Diffusion or similar AI image generation technologies, with the ability to integrate brand-specific parameters into the design process.
  • Knowledge and experience with Figma API that allows developers seamlessly integrate design elements from Figma directly into a website or application built with a headless CMS architecture 

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $70,000 in the lowest geographic market and up to $90,000 per year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
