About the Role
 
We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer to ensure the quality of a secure platform operating in a multi-cloud / hybrid infrastructure (AWS, Azure, on-prem). This role is primarily focused on manual testing, integration (API level) and functional testing with automation planned as a future initiative. The right candidate brings strong QA expertise, hands-on testing experience, and knowledge of QA tools and frameworks, while being comfortable working in a smaller, highly collaborative team where responsibilities are broader
 
What You’ll Do
 
Hands-On Testing
  • Design, execute, and maintain manual test cases for functional, regression, and integration testing
  • Perform API-level and end-to-end integration testing, ensuring interoperability across services and systems
  • Validate platform functionality and reliability across multi-cloud and hybrid environments
  • Actively participate in release validation and regression testing cycles.
QA Processes & Tools
  • Use and maintain QA tools for test management, defect tracking, and reporting
  • Contribute to clear documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results
  • Ensure traceability of requirements through well-documented test coverage
  • Collaboration and Troubleshooting
  • Work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to clarify requirements and align testing priorities
  • Troubleshoot issues across environments, providing detailed defect reports and actionable feedback.
  • Collaborate with distributed teams across geographies and time zones
Continuous Improvement
  • Advocate for QA best practices within the team, including functional, integration, and exploratory testing approaches
  • Support the team’s long-term automation efforts by providing input on test coverage and frameworks
  • Stay up to date with industry tools and trends in QA
  • Support technical evaluations of other consultants when required, contributing to the assessment of skills and alignment with project needs
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in software testing, with at least 4 years in a senior QA role.
  • Proven expertise in manual functional and integration testing, especially at the API level.
  • Familiarity with multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, on-premises) and distributed systems.
  • Experience with QA tools such as Postman, JMeter, Selenium, or similar (hands-on automation experience is a plus but not required immediately).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in Agile/DevOps teams
