About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Technical Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for gathering and analyzing technical requirements from various business stakeholders, translating them into clear technical specifications and user stories that guide development efforts. You will work closely with multiple departments to ensure that all proposed solutions align with organizational goals and deliver measurable value.
What You’ll Do
- Responsible for gathering and analyzing technical requirements from business stakeholders. This includes translating business needs into technical specifications and user stories.
- Close collaboration with various Business departments to ensure technical solutions align with business objectives.
- Designs logical and flexible solutions that simplify complex or redundant processes, aiming to standardize where possible and improve overall process/product quality.
- Incident and bug triage, user acceptance testing, and ensuring that the technical build and testing efforts are thorough to minimize scope creep and timeline delays.
- Project planning, management, and implementation, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and meet the required standards.
- Support technical evaluations of other consultants when required, contributing to the assessment of skills and alignment with project needs
What You Bring
- 5+ years’ experience as a business systems/functional analyst
- 2+ years' experience evaluating and improving business processes
- 3+ years' experience developing test plans and scripts covering QA, regression, and UAT scenarios
- Experience in Agile/Scrum, supporting Agile efforts, preference given to Certified SCRUM Master/Product Owner.
- Experience documenting and mapping business processes, gathering requirements, writing user stories, and root cause analysis
- Proven experience automating manual processes
- Demonstrated experience mentoring team members
- Experience working in agile environment
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, ability to present in a clear and concise manner to all levels, and experience in influencing and negotiation
- Experience identifying and resolving complex issues (problem solver), taking initiative even under unfamiliar or ambiguous circumstances
- Ability to anticipate obstacles and develop plans to resolve them
- Ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple tasks in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment.
- Ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, scope business requirements, and prioritize tasks
- Detailed oriented with the ability to use judgement and instinct to make decisions
- Experience working with global stakeholders/team members
- Ability to dive deep and develop innovative ideas for process challenges
- Working knowledge and expertise with multiple Software Development Life Cycles (SDLC) or Software Development Methodologies (SDM) and industry standard development methodologies.
- Experience with JIRA or other Development Lifecycle Management tool
- Experience with MS Office Products – Word, Excel, Visio, Project
