About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned IT Project / Program Manager to lead complex, enterprise-level initiatives within a fast-paced retail and supply chain environment. This role requires a strong balance of technical project leadership and business-facing communication, as you will serve as the primary liaison between functional leaders, technical teams, vendors, and executive stakeholders.
What You’ll Do
- Manage project teams, setting goals, objectives, and priorities then conducting frequent team update sessions to review status and resolve issues.
- Develops and maintains a productive working relationship with project sponsors, project team, business project lead, vendors and other key clients
- Acts as a liaison between functional leaders, and technical teams to critically evaluate needs and identify potential solutions and be the single point of contact for all communication.
- Manages vendor relationships, including representing, negotiating and working closely to prioritize, troubleshoot, and resolve all issues.
- Provides assessment of IT project management needs (as requested), delivering results to IT stakeholders.
- Recommends and implements risk mitigation strategies.
- Planning and Management of Scope, Schedule, Budget, Resources.
- Facilitates definition of the project scope and detailed project plans.
- Independently drives and monitors project milestones and critical dates to identify potential risks in the project schedule.
- Assesses variances from the project plan, gathers metrics, and develops / implements changes as needed to ensure the project remains within scope, on schedule, and under budget
- Support technical evaluations of other consultants when required, contributing to the assessment of skills and alignment with project needs
What You Bring
- 5+ years of enterprise IT project/program management experience in Retail, CPG, or Supply Chain, including large-scale Agile implementations.
- Experience with Agile.
- Excellent delivery track record in managing stakeholders, scope, schedule and budget.
- Excellent communication skills and experience working with key business stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Excellent relationship and team building skills.
- Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail and quality.
- Digital transformation experience is a plus.
