- Lead GitOps implementation (e.g., ArgoCD), defining promotion workflows and rollback strategies.
- Embed DevSecOps practices including security gates, compliance checks, and policy-as-code.
- Strengthen platform observability and operational visibility through APM and centralized logging solutions.
- Drive progressive delivery practices (Blue/Green, Canary) and release automation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to define platform guardrails and promote ownership culture.
- Support modernization initiatives including containerization of legacy systems
- Support technical evaluations of other consultants when required, contributing to the assessment of skills and alignment with project needs
What You Bring
- 10+ years of experience in DevOps / Platform Engineering roles, with strong Kubernetes (EKS) expertise
- Deep understanding of container orchestration, networking concepts, ingress controllers, and deployment strategies (Blue/Green, Canary).
- Strong experience building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
- Hands-on experience implementing GitOps workflows (e.g., ArgoCD) and declarative deployment models.
- Proven experience designing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, including modularization and environment separation.
- Solid knowledge of DevSecOps principles and integrating security controls into delivery pipelines.
- Solid understanding of service integration patterns and API lifecycle considerations.
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, Splunk) and familiarity with SRE concepts such as SLOs and error budgets.
- Experience working in complex or enterprise environments, including legacy modernization initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive engineering best practices.
Nice to have:
- Experience designing multi-region active-active architectures and global traffic management strategies.
- Exposure to service mesh strategy and implementation in enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with decentralized deployment governance models across multiple teams.
- Experience contributing to compliance framework design across business units.
- Understanding advanced orchestration or proxy-layer architectural patterns.
- Experience driving platform standardization in fragmented or multi-team environments.
- Exposure to AI-driven DevOps enhancements (e.g., GitLab Duo, AI-assisted debugging, pipeline optimization).
- Experience contributing to internal developer platform strategy and enablement initiatives
