Executive Assistant to CEO

About this position:
We are looking to hire an Executive Assistant to support our CEO. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organized and driven individual who is passionate about the world of Tech/SAAS. We are looking for someone ambitious, curious, and thrives in a high-growth, fast-paced environment. You are proactive, take initiative, and enjoy building processes to increase efficiency. You will work closely with all departments and various stakeholders across our organization to be in the know and ultimately contribute to the continued success of Later through support to our CEO.
** please note that we will only be considering applicants who are prepared to commute daily to our Vancouver, Washington office**
What you'll be doing:
- Manage the CEO’s calendar and schedule meetings, organize/prioritize time-sensitive and confidential information
- Work with the CEO to help him stay on top of a large volume of information by reviewing, assembling, and disseminating information
- Make travel and accommodation arrangements as required
- Calendar management for internal and external meetings (partners, investors, customers) and some calendar support for the broader executive team
- Communicate with the board of directors on meeting times and logistics
- Manage CEO and executive expenses and prepare weekly, monthly or quarterly reports for finance
- Format information for internal and external communication – messages, emails, presentations, reports
- Take minutes during meetings and communicate key information and action items to stakeholders
- On-site office coordination of the Vancouver, Washington office, in partnership with broader facilities team
- Additional tasks as needed, including both in- and out-of-office needs

- 3+ years of working experience in an administrative position or as an Executive Assistant, ideally to a CEO or COO
- Experience with email, Slack, G-suite and some familiarity with Asana
- Experience communicating with various stakeholders in a remote or in-person professional setting
- Experience solving complex problems involving multiple stakeholders
- Experience in a work environment with a high level of change and intensity
- Experience working with sensitive and confidential information and demonstrating a high level of discretion
- Highly organized, thorough, and detailed oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Self-motivated, diligent, and able to work both autonomously and collaboratively
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal
Nice to Haves:
- Previous experience working in a high-growth environment, supporting C-suite executive(s)
- Post-Secondary diploma or degree

Hours and Travel:
- This position may require occasional evening or weekend work to accommodate the CEO's schedule.
- Travel may be required occasionally for meetings, conferences, or other business-related events.
Our approach to compensation:
We take a market-based & data-driven approach to compensation. We leverage data from trusted third-party compensation sources to help us understand the market value of a role based on function, level, geographic location, and scope. We evaluate compensation bi-annually, including performance and market-related factors.
Our salaries are benchmarked against market Total Cash Compensation for the geographic location of our job posting. Compensation for some roles is structured as On Target Earnings (OTE = base + commission/variable) while for others it is structured as Salary only.
To comply with local legislation and ensure transparency, we share salary ranges on all job postings. Skills, experience and other factors help determine the final salary we offer which may vary from the original range posted.
Additionally, all permanent team members are granted stock options and are eligible to participate in various benefits plans as part of their overall compensation package.
Salary Range:
$75,000 - 90,000 USD
