We are seeking a high-energy, results-oriented Demand Generation Manager to take lead, manage and drive revenue growth through our demand generation function. In this critical role, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive multi-channel marketing programs that drive brand awareness, generate high-quality leads, and nurture prospects through the sales funnel. This role will work closely with the VP of Demand Generation, but will take full ownership of a specific assigned business sector, target audience or campaign. You create targeted full funnel campaigns from overall strategy creation to execution and reporting. This role will leverage a combination of SEO, email marketing, and paid media strategies to achieve our lead generation and revenue objectives.

The ideal candidate is a T-shaped marketer with experience in demand generation, growth experiments, and marketing tech.

What you'll be doing:

Channel Management:

Oversee the management of budget and execution for the following channels to hit lead generation and revenue goals:

  • Paid Media including paid social, paid search, video, display etc. 
  • Search Engine Optimization
  • Email Marketing

Strategy Creation, Leadership and Execution:

  • Have a deep understanding of Later: Understand Later’s target audiences, spearheading full-funnel demand generation campaign strategies that attracts and retains Later customers
  • Utilize technical skillset and leadership ability: Lead campaigns from the trenches, digging in with tactic leaders (paid, SEO and email) when necessary, then zooming back out to see how decisions impact the big picture and overarching company goals
  • Utilize web analytics, large datasets, and tactic specific reporting to understand campaign performance, identify trends, and draw actionable insights
    • Summarize findings for team and executive leadership
  • Continuous testing and improvements: Apply insights from experiments to refine campaigns and tactics, aiming for better engagement, conversion rates, and customer experience.
  • Consistently be organized and proactive: Deliver updates and data in an effective and concise manner. Lead campaigns and primary tactic producers in a clear and organized fashion. Take into account team bandwidth and other priorities, but ensure your needs are met.
  • Be results-oriented: Collaborate on creating and measuring monthly lead targets and quarterly OKRs
  • Staying updated: Keeping abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in managed channels/tactics to identify opportunities for innovation and experimentation.

Webinar Strategy and Management:

  • Develop and execute on a strategy for Later’s webinar motion including the selection of platform, timing, creative, and pre-event and post-event marketing motions, with the intent from brand building, partner activation, and lead and revenue generation
  • Collaborate with event, corporate/brand marketing, demand generation, and sales teams to select topics for webinars
  • Establish relationships and coordinate with key thought leaders (internal and external) and partners. Utilize this network as guests in our webinars.
  • Create pre, during and post event marketing motions to capture interest and leads. Relay this to the demand generation and sales teams.
  • Create compounding traction for webinars that we can build on for maximum exposure and impact to our goals.
  • As the webinar strategy grows, Later will likely expand the webinar motion to a full time role - you will work cross-functionally with this future role to support your target vertical and lead/revenue metrics

Team Collaboration and Communication:

  • Cross-functional collaboration with teams including product, web and creative, sales and revenue operations to ensure alignment in support of achieving demand generation goals
  • Partner with the sales team to ensure that leads generated are high-quality and that there is a seamless handoff process
  • Partner with web and creative, and brand team for ad creative, content, and web landing page creation to support campaigns
  • Work with data team to ensure that data flows smoothly between systems and that tracking and attribution are accurate
  • Actively collaborate daily and weekly with the VP of Demand Generation, reporting on what’s working and what’s not, blockers, and next steps.
  • Participate in team and company-wide meetings

  • Bachelor's degree preferred (Marketing, Business or Related)
  • 4+ years of experience in a results-driven digital marketing focused role in SaaS, B2B & B2C, and/or Technology
  • 2+ years as a primary individual contributor in a results-driven digital marketing focused role
  • Deep care about user experience and ability to build precise targeting as well as delightful, on-brand experiences
  • Have proven success in driving results through digital marketing including SEO, paid media, and email
  • Knowledge: Technical understanding of SEO, paid media (search, social, display, video, etc), email (Klaviyo, Marketo), ABM campaigns, and website CMS (Contentful, Wordpress) and how each contributes to a successful campaign.
  • Strong familiarity with sales tools: ZoomInfo, Outreach, CRMs (Salesforce)
  • Extreme level of quality assurance for visual and written creative
  • Strong background with data tools: Google Analytics 4, Salesforce, Mode, Supermetrics, Amplitude. Ability to deep dive into data driven spreadsheets and organize data for insights.
  • Understanding of UX and high-level web strategy
  • Excellent results orientation, proven record performing to aggressive growth targets
  • Flexibility & ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Ability to think outside the box

Our approach to compensation:

We take a market-based & data-driven approach to compensation. We leverage data from trusted third-party compensation sources to help us understand the market value of a role based on function, level, geographic location, and scope. We evaluate compensation bi-annually, including performance and market-related factors.

Our salaries are benchmarked against market Total Cash Compensation for the geographic location of our job posting. Compensation for some roles is structured as On Target Earnings (OTE = base + commission/variable) while for others it is structured as Salary only.

To comply with local legislation and ensure transparency, we share salary ranges on all job postings. Skills, experience and other factors help determine the final salary we offer which may vary from the original range posted. 

Additionally, all permanent team members are granted stock options and are eligible to participate in various benefits plans as part of their overall compensation package.

Salary Range: 

$ 120,000 - 140,000 USD
