About this position:

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the Mavely Creator Apps product to achieve its vision of "Game Over" – a state where Mavely is the preferred platform for creators. This role is critical for scaling the product to meet ambitious engagement and revenue targets, making Mavely Creator Apps the #1 choice for creators.

The Senior Product Manager will manage the entire product lifecycle, including ideation, requirements definition, UX design, technical development, and launch. They will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and product visionary, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to build a product that creators love and brands trust

 

What you'll be doing:

  1. Product Vision and Strategy
    • Define and execute the product strategy for Mavely Creator Apps, aligned with the company’s vision to make it the #1 choice for creators.
    • Work with the VP of Product to set ambitious engagement and revenue targets, ensuring the product meets the daily active creator goal of high daily active creators and increasing earnings per hour on average.
    • Act as the primary thought leader and SME for the product, staying current on industry trends and the competitive landscape to drive innovation and differentiation.
  2. Product Development and Sprint Lifecycle Management
    • Lead the entire sprint lifecycle, from Product Requirements Definition through to General Availability, ensuring timely and high-quality releases.
    • Collaborate with UX, Engineering, and Data Science teams to develop and deliver product features that enhance creator earnings and engagement.
    • Oversee sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and other Agile rituals, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.
    • Continuously prioritize the product roadmap and backlog to align with company goals and user needs.
  3. Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Marketing, Engineering, Data Science, and Finance, to ensure all stakeholders are aligned on the product vision and progress.
    • Partner with the Product Marketing team to develop a go-to-market strategy that promotes new features and engages existing users.
    • Communicate product updates, roadmaps, and insights to executive leadership and other key stakeholders.
  4. User Research and Data-Driven Decisions
    • Conduct ongoing user research and engage directly with creators to understand their needs, pain points, and behaviors.
    • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the product’s success and drive data-informed decisions.
    • Use data analytics and A/B testing to validate feature impact and continuously improve user experience and engagement.
  5. Roadmap and Feature Prioritization
    • Develop a comprehensive product roadmap with a focus on delivering impactful features, including smart search, personalized recommendations, and AI-driven content generation.
    • Prioritize features based on user feedback, business goals, and the overall vision for "Game Over."
    • Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure features are technically feasible and can be delivered within the planned timeline.
  6. Product Vision Realization – "Game Over"
    • Drive the vision of Mavely Creator Apps to become the industry-leading platform for creators, with AI-powered recommendation engines, next-best-actions, and generative content AI.
    • Ensure the app provides creators with a seamless, high-value experience that boosts daily earnings and engagement.
    • Work towards achieving the ultimate goal of daily active users and earnings per hour spent on the app.

  • 7-9 years of Product Management experience in a similar role, preferably within creator platforms, social media, influencer marketing, or e-commerce.
  • Proven track record of driving high-impact products to achieve strong user engagement and revenue growth.
  • Experience leading a product through the entire development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, UX design, technical design, development, testing, and launch.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Agile methodologies and sprint management, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and guide cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to leverage data and user feedback to make informed product decisions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to work effectively with cross-functional teams and engage with executives and key stakeholders.
  • Experience with AI and recommendation systems is a plus, particularly in implementing AI-driven features like predictive recommendations, generative content, and smart search.
  • Passion for the creator economy and a deep understanding of the needs, behaviors, and motivations of influencers and creators.
  • Product Vision and Strategy: Ability to define and execute on a compelling product vision and roadmap that aligns with company goals.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Skilled in analyzing data to drive product decisions, with a strong focus on measurable impact.
  • Agile Project Management: Experienced in leading Agile teams, managing backlogs, and running sprints.
  • User-Centric Design: Commitment to building a product that is user-friendly, intuitive, and enhances the creator experience.
  • Technical Acumen: Understanding of technical requirements and ability to communicate effectively with engineering teams.
  • Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Our approach to compensation:

We take a market-based & data-driven approach to compensation. We leverage data from trusted third-party compensation sources to help us understand the market value of a role based on function, level, geographic location, and scope. We evaluate compensation bi-annually, including performance and market-related factors.

Our salaries are benchmarked against market Total Cash Compensation for the geographic location of our job posting. Compensation for some roles is structured as On Target Earnings (OTE = base + commission/variable) while for others it is structured as Salary only.

To comply with local legislation and ensure transparency, we share salary ranges on all job postings. Skills, experience and other factors help determine the final salary we offer which may vary from the original range posted. 

Additionally, all permanent team members are granted stock options and are eligible to participate in various benefits plans as part of their overall compensation package.

Salary Range: 

$130,00 - $150,000 base salary + bonus
