Meet the team:
Autonomous Vehicles generate enormous amounts of data that is used by many different development teams across the company. The Data Core team is responsible for the offloading, processing, and curation of data from many different sources on several different vehicle platforms.
We write software that runs on physical hardware in locations around the world to ingest petabytes of data from dozens of different sources to multiple data centers. We also build the pipelines that process much of that data in order to make it available to the many internal teams that rely on quality data in order to improve the behavior of the autonomous vehicles. We are continually striving to make the ingestion and processing of vehicle data faster, more reliable, and more versatile. We work closely with many other teams including those that generate the logs, manage the fleet of vehicles and the physical operation of the ingest hardware, do further specialized processing of the logs, and develop the autonomy stack that runs on the vehicles.
We’re looking for candidates who are excited about working with multiple systems and providing quality features and solutions for many different internal customers and stakeholders.

- Collaborate with multiple upstream and downstream teams across the company to plan, design, and implement performant and reliable software solutions
- Be an integral part of a small team of dedicated and passionate engineers who support each other to help the team achieve its goals and satisfy our customers and partners
