Meet the team:
The People Operations (POps) team is responsible for managing the end-to-end employee experience and infrastructure needed to maintain a transparent and inclusive culture. From hiring, to creating competitive benefits packages, to overseeing our process for employee career development, to performance management and retention - the People team plays a critical role in cross-functional alignment and the overall management of the employee life cycle.
What you’ll do:
Demonstrate expert-level, hands-on recruiting across a variety of roles/functions
- Work closely with People Operations and hiring managers to develop new recruiting strategies that identify and attract top talent across a variety of functions/roles
- Leverage deep industry knowledge to source high-quality candidates across a range of disciplines, with specific focus on highly technical roles
- Demonstrate a high degree of proficiency in conducting compensation conversations with candidates of all levels
- Adapt to new engineering disciplines to quickly formulate and refine effective sourcing and hiring strategies
- Demonstrate thorough understanding of the AV industry and associated technical domains to document and perform light technical phone screens of early candidates
- Employ a customer-centric mindset to support the hiring needs of hiring teams
Grow Latitude’s employment brand across the AV/ML industry
- Partner with Latitude Communications team to develop appropriate brand engagement strategies that promote Latitude’s hiring brand across the industry
- Act as the subject matter expert to advise internal hiring teams on appropriate external engagement opportunities such as conferences, speaking engagements, etc
- Effectively demonstrate strong communication skills to positively represent the organization externally
Measure and increase Recruiting team efficiency
- Apply a process-driven mindset to identify new opportunities to enhance/improve Latitude’s hiring practices
- Effectively utilize internal resources such as Greenhouse and Workday reporting to identify trends and inform hiring decisions
- Build scalable reporting procedures that enable real-time tracking and measurement of recruiting performance
- Provide coaching and mentorship to other members of the recruiting team
Contribute to key internal programs, such as new hire onboarding, to ensure successful assimilation of new talent
- Partner with HR Business Partners and Onboarding team to enhance Latitude’s new hire onboarding program to include tailored, department-specific training/assimilation opportunities
- Partner with HR Business Partners to develop new strategies to track and measure new hire performance across 30-60-90 day milestones
- Contribute to monthly interviewer training to elevate the Latitude’s team’s talent assessment capabilities
What you'll need to succeed:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Information Systems or related area
- 10+ years of HR/Recruiting experience, including 2+ years of direct Greenhouse experience
- Proven ability leading cross-functional hiring projects in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent coordination, organization and multitasking skills
- Keen attention to detail and appropriate handling of sensitive information
- Ability to efficiently communicate, escalate and problem solve as needed
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly evolving environment
