About the Manager of Business Development position:

As the Manager of Business Development at Laudio you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth. This is an individual contributor role but you will be collaborating closely with the Sales and Marketing teams, crafting and executing targeted outreach strategies to expand our client base and foster valuable relationships. Your responsibilities will include engaging with top accounts, designing impactful outbound campaigns, and managing inbound leads with finesse and efficiency. Drawing on your experience with Hubspot, you’ll optimize our internal processes and ensure seamless data management and accurate reporting to inform strategic decision-making for our sales and marketing efforts. 

We’re seeking a proactive individual with a proven track record in business development, coupled with exceptional communication skills and a commitment to excellence. In our fast-paced environment, you’ll thrive by managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivery results with precision.

Responsibilities:

As the Manager of Business Development for Laudio, you will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with the Sales team on their Outreach Strategy: Working closely with Regional Vice Presidents (RVPs) of Sales to develop and execute targeted outreach strategies at an account level to drive business growth and foster client relationships.
  • Executing Outreach to Top Accounts: Identifying and engaging with top accounts not currently targeted by RVPs to generate awareness, interest, and ultimately book meetings through effective communication and relationship-building tactics.
  • Designing and Executing Outbound Campaigns: Developing and implementing creative and personalized outbound campaigns aimed at engaging prospects and driving conversions, leveraging various communication channels and strategies.
  • Handling Inbound Leads: Managing inbound leads, including demo requests and website chatbot inquiries, performing thorough discovery and qualification processes before transitioning qualified leads to RVPs for further engagement.
  • Nurturing Leads from Demand Gen and Events: Implementing personalized engagement strategies to nurture and convert leads acquired through demand generation initiatives, digital marketing, and events, ensuring a timely, seamless transition through the sales funnel.
  • Supporting HubSpot Processes and Data Hygiene: Utilizing previous experience with HubSpot to support and optimize internal processes, ensuring accurate data management and adherence to best practices.
  • Reporting Outcomes to Commercial Leadership: Providing regular updates and reports to commercial leadership regarding campaign outcomes, meeting metrics, lead conversion, and key learnings from prospect interactions to inform strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Experience using HubSpot: Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing HubSpot for sales and marketing automation, with the ability to support and optimize processes within the platform.
  • Healthcare Technology Sales Experience: Prior experience in sales within the healthcare technology industry, with a strong understanding of the healthcare landscape and client needs.
  • 4-5 Years Experience as BDR or Similar Role: Proven track record in a business development or similar role, with a focus on driving lead generation and conversion through strategic outreach and engagement tactics.
  • Commitment to High-Quality Communication: Strong writing and general communication skills with a commitment to maintaining high-quality interactions with prospects, aligning with brand guidelines and maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Ability to Manage Multiple Projects and Responsibilities Simultaneously: Demonstrated ability to balance numerous high-priority work streams and key stakeholders effectively; fit with a fast-paced start-up environment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer in various environments with multiple distractions
  • Must be able to travel
