Field Operations and Enablement Manager - APJ

APAC - Australia; Singapore

About the Job:

LaunchDarkly is looking for a Field Operations & Enablement Manager to support our rapidly growing APJ region. This hybrid role combines operational leadership with hands-on enablement and is ideal for someone energized by building in an emerging market, working cross-functionally, and partnering with globally distributed teams headquartered in AMS.

You’ll be the operational backbone for our APJ sellers—bringing clarity to processes, improving execution quality, and ensuring continuity across the customer journey—while also delivering targeted enablement that supports onboarding, skill development, and ongoing readiness. As the region continues to scale and recalibrate, you’ll play a critical role in shaping how the business operates day to day.

If you thrive in fast-paced environments, love creating structure from ambiguity, and enjoy partnering across time zones to support global programs, this role offers meaningful visibility and impact across the GTM organization.

Responsibilities:

Serve as the Voice of the APJ Field & Trusted Business Partner

  • Build deep relationships with AEs, SDRs, and managers to understand their challenges, requests, and emerging opportunities.
  • Identify recurring patterns and translate field feedback into structured operational insights for RevOps and Global GTM leadership.
  • Represent APJ needs during global planning cycles, advocating for improvements aligned to both local realities and global priorities.
  • Help the field understand the "why" behind operational decisions and ensure alignment between APJ and global strategy.

Drive Operational Excellence Across the APJ Segment

  • Streamline and improve processes that support predictable pipeline creation, opportunity management, and deal progression.
  • Partner with APJ Sales Leadership to reinforce execution expectations and maintain consistent operating rhythms across the region.
  • Translate global process standards into APJ-ready workflows that address local needs without sacrificing consistency.

Enable Sellers and Managers Through Training, Readiness, and Skill Development

  • Deliver and support onboarding for new sales APJ hires, ensuring they ramp quickly with clear processes, tools, and expectations.
  • Facilitate everboarding programs focused on pipeline generation, discovery, qualification, value articulation, and deal progression.
  • Collaborate with global enablement partners to adapt content, training, and frameworks to fit the APJ context.
  • Provide managers with resources and guidance that strengthen coaching and reinforce expected behaviors.

Partner Globally to Operationalize GTM Initiatives

  • Work closely with Field Operations, Marketing (Campaigns), Sales Enablement, Product Marketing, Partners, RevOps, and Customer Experience to ensure global programs land effectively in APJ.
  • Communicate upcoming changes and readiness needs in a way that keeps the region aligned and informed despite timezone differences.
  • Help adapt global launches—process updates, messaging changes, new plays—into clear, actionable steps for APJ sellers.

Measure, Improve, and Scale What Works

  • Track operational and enablement performance indicators to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for optimization.
  • Document and scale examples of "what good looks like" across APJ to elevate regional execution.
  • Continuously refine workflows, guidance, and enablement programs based on data, local feedback, and evolving business needs.

About You:

  • You thrive in fast-paced, emerging markets and enjoy building structure while the business is evolving.
  • You’re equally comfortable driving operational rigor and delivering hands-on enablement.
  • You excel at working with globally distributed teams and collaborating across time zones.
  • You communicate clearly and proactively, ensuring sellers have the clarity and resources they need.
  • You’re data-driven and use insights to diagnose issues, prioritize improvements, and measure impact.
  • You build trust quickly with sellers, managers, and cross-functional partners—becoming a go-to problem solver.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years in field operations, sales enablement, revenue operations, or similar GTM roles.
  • Experience supporting high-velocity or emerging-market sales teams, particularly in APJ.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, opportunity management, and qualification frameworks.
  • Experience delivering training or enablement programs across virtual, live, and asynchronous formats.
  • Comfortable partnering with cross-functional teams such as Sales, RevOps, Enablement, Product Marketing, and CS Ops.
  • Familiarity with enablement and sales tools such as Salesforce, Gong, Highspot, and LMS platforms (SalesHood, Skilljar, etc.).
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to navigate multiple priorities in an evolving environment.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • You’ll help build and shape how the APJ region operates and grows.
  • You’ll collaborate with global teams and influence how worldwide programs translate to local execution.
  • You’ll work in an environment that values clarity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • You’ll join a region on the rise—where your work will have immediate visibility and impact.
