Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data and reporting requirements.
  • Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources to create comprehensive datasets.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries for data retrieval and transformation.
  • Create interactive and visually compelling reports and dashboards.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with data and reports.
  • Stay updated on emerging business intelligence technologies and best practices.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of business intelligence projects.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Developer or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
  • Proficiency in business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, QlikView).
  • Advanced SQL skills for data querying and manipulation.
  • Experience with data visualization best practices and design principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex data concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

 

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with data governance and data quality principles.
  • Knowledge of data integration tools and methodologies.
  • Experience with cloud-based business intelligence solutions.
  • Understanding of business processes and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Familiarity with scripting languages for data manipulation (e.g., Python, R).
